New Zealand’s 6th Rosé Day is set to be celebrated this week. The following local selection of currently available vibrant New Zealand Rosé wines - are an ideal pairing with a diverse number of casual summer occasions & cuisine. Akarua
‘25 Steps’ Rosé 2020
Region: Central Otago

The juice for the Rosé was syphoned off from Pinot Noir grapes - it has inviting aromas of wild strawberries and red cherries with lifted floral notes. The palate is engaging showcasing those ripe strawberries, juicy watermelon, subtle mineral notes and refreshing bright dry finish.
(13.5% Alc. - R.S. 2.6g/L).

‘Fiesta’ Rosé 2020
Region: Hawke's Bay

This ‘Fiesta’ Rosé is a celebration for the senses - performantly crafted from Syrah, it has enticing aromas of ripe strawberries and rose petal flavours with a hint of peach. While it is crafted in a dry style, it is equally luscious on the palate and ideal for any summer occasion.

'The Jules' Rosé 2020

This rosé wine was crafted from 100% Merlot and is bursting with raspberry, papaya and mango sit alongside yummy hints of watermelon and vanilla. The delicious fruit acidity and dry finish make this wine an ideal sipper and will leave you reaching for another glass.

Pinot Rosé 2020

The juice for the Rosé is from a single vineyard & syphoned from Pinot Noir - inviting aromas of strawberries and red cherries with wild floral notes. The palate is engaging showcasing ripe strawberry and juicy watermelon characters with a refreshing bright dry finish.

Pinot Meunier Rosé 2020
Region: Nelson
Winemaker: Trudy Shield
A Provençal Pink, this light to medium rosé has an aromatic red fruit and citrus nose. The balanced dash of residual sugar accentuates the juicy fruit flavours which are complemented by the natural citrus acidity. That stretches out the vibrant palate onto a bright refreshing finish.

MKI Rosé 2020

Delicately coloured, and leaving an uplifted experience on your taste-buds. This deft rosé crafted from Marlborough’s oldest organic vineyard. The selected Pinot Noir bunches were pressed directly into tank - is has a focused wild strawberry, watermelon & grapefruit personality.
